The Copper Coast Angling Club is a family orientated fishing club based in the Copper Coast region of South Australia.  We are a group of fishing enthusiasts that hold fishing outings every second month.  Our club takes pride in its diversity, catering for all ages from the very young to the Mens, Ladies and Veterans. Our fishing outings are held at various locations throughout South Australia and members come from all over the State to participate.

 

The Club holds regular fishing and social outings, where all members can attend, relax, and enjoy themselves. We enjoy a bit of friendly competition while socialising with like minded people.  

We fish beaches, rocks and jetties.  Our outings may be boat or shore, freshwater or saltwater.

At each event we hold a general meeting where we discuss club matters with a relaxed approach and each member has the opportunity to have some input into the club operations.  All members receive a newsletters with minutes, calendar dates and new information.

 

We also have a facebook page which has regular updates and trip photos for all to see. 

 

We pride ourselves on our relaxed approach and work together to ensure that everyone enjoys their time at our outings.  There is no level of fishing ability required... it's all about having fun, taking some time out with family and freinds and hopefully catching a fish or two along the way.

 

A total of 12 trips are held throughout the year.  The is balanced out every second month with a total of 6 weekends throughout the season. 

 

As a member there is no requirement or minimum of how many trips you attend or if you attend any for that matter. If you attend the trips you can fish for as long or as little as you like.  You may just enjoy the company of others!

 

CLUB RULES

  • Juniors must be accompanied by a parent/guardian at all club outings

  • Members must nominate for all club outings and inform another member if they are unable to attend weigh in

  • No fishing on the rocks, after dark. (Marina Excluded)

  • Most importantly have fun, relax and enjoy!!

MEMBERSHIP FEES>>

Our aim is to keep our membership fees as low as possible to encourage members and families to come along to our club and social events.

 

Membership fees per year are:
Men's/Ladies individual membership $25
Seniors Card holders $20
Juniors (under 16 years) $15
Family Membership (juniors under 16 years) $50

 

NEW MEMBERS ARE ALWAYS WELCOME!  If you want to learn more about the club before you sign up we are more than happy to have you and your friends and family along to our club outings as visitors. It's a great way to see what the club is all about. 

 

We hold BBQ's at each trip allowing members the opportunity to socialise with and get to know other club members. There is a BBQ fee of $3 per adult and again our juniors are free.
